The CM National Honor Society volunteered at the Ronald McDonald House last week to prepare a meal for the families staying there. The NHS sold candy grams for Valentine’s Day to raise the money to feed 20 people- pictured below are NHS members and staff leaders:
National Honor Society also collects unused food from the Friday bagged lunches, and instead of the food going in the trash, they take it to PADS shelter each Friday (pictured below).

The Catalyst Maria Wolves/Lady Wolves basketball teams had a GREAT week last week! Last Wednesday night the boys’ basketball team defeated Hancock 110-34 to advance to the 2nd round of the CPS Blue Division Playoffs! The Lady Wolves are getting ready for state playoffs this week! GO WOLVES/LADY WOLVES!!!
Last Thursday Catalyst Circle Rock's 5th and 6th grade scholars competed in the “May I Have this Dance” ballroom dancing competition at the Chicago Cultural Center. After hours of practice and hard work, the CCR team came in FIRST PLACE!!! Congratulations to the scholars, Ms. Morgan and Mrs. Knight!
