We are thrilled to announce that Catalyst Circle Rock Principal Elizabeth Jamison-Dunn is the WINNER of the Zell Family Alumni of the Year Award!
Each year, the Teach for America organization presents the Zell Family Alumni of the Year awards to honor distinguished alumni who have shaped equity in education and strengthened the community at the classroom, school, and systems levels.
In her 10th year leading Catalyst Circle Rock and 18th at the school (she was a founding team member in 2007!), Principal Jamison-Dunn has received numerous accolades including the 2012 Teach for America Chicago Alumni Distinguished Teacher Award, being a finalist for the 2019 Illinois Network of Charter Schools Charter Excellence Award for Principal of the Year, a member of the 2024 Surge Fellowship Cohort, and the 2024 CPS Game Changer Award for Charter Leaders. She holds two Masters degrees from Dominican University and is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Educational Leadership.
She will be honored at Teach for America’s gala on May 1st!
