What the Catalyst-Circle Rock Symphony will be like when it grows up.
Ravinia will partner with the Catalyst Schools to begin a 60 instrument symphonic orchestra at Catalyst-Circle Rock. After several years in collaboration, the two organizations were inspired to create a symphony orchestra at the Circle Rock site. The project is rooted in a music program originating in Venezuela and is called El Systema. El Systema has produced some magnificent musicians including GUSTAVO DUDAMEL who is the conductor of the Los Angeles Symphony Orchestra.
