Catalyst Maria High School was on CBS news for a feature report on their fall play (linked through the image below)! The original full play, A Work in Progress, was written by a CM teacher and features poetry by the students of Catalyst Maria High School.
The play will be Friday 11/20/15 at 6:30, Saturday 11/21/15 at 2:30 and 6:30, and Sunday 11/22/15 at 2:30 in the Catalyst Maria auditorium.
Tickets are $5 at the door and all proceeds go to fund the Drama Club's next production- we hope to see you there!
Meet the Catalyst Circle Rock and Catalyst Maria school teams at ParentPower Chicago's Second Annual Chicago School Fair! The fair will be held this weekend (November 14 -15, 2015) at Navy Pier.
Circle Rock (K-8) will be located at Booth 52 and Catalyst Maria (K-8, 9-12) will be located at Booth 135!

On Tuesday Catalyst Maria hosted ~60 leading educators from across the nation from Carnegie Learning’s Technology Summit! The CM team demonstrated the blended learning, 21st century skills, cooperative spirit and critical thinking skills they are providing scholars every day! HUGE shout out to the Math Team (Mr. Trpkosh, Ms. Hatlen, Ms. Denz, Ms. Yadav, Ms. Ryu and Mr. Green) and Mrs. Sandoval and Mr. Tolinsao (pictured addressing the summit) for leading this event!
Catalyst was featured heavily at the annual Illinois Network of Charter Schools conference on Monday! Catalyst Maria senior Isa Morales was the recipient of the Outstanding Illinois Charter School Senior Award, selected from an incredibly competitive group of deserving candidates!
Catalyst Maria parent Ms. Myisha Shields was awarded the Illinois Charter Parent Advocate Award, representing the parents of over 63,000 charter school students!
Catalyst Maria parent Ms. Tanika Meeks was a featured panelist on the conference’s opening session of All Means All: A Great School for Every Child.
From Catalyst Circle Rock, the Ravinia sponsored Circle Rockets Scholar Orchestra were the featured performance for the 500+ attendees at the awards luncheon and Sister Helen Streuder, was a featured speaker during the session titled Charter Innovations: Employing Tutoring to Drive Strong Student Outcomes.
