On Tuesday evening Catalyst Maria had their first combined National Honor Society and National Junior Honor Society Induction Ceremony! A total of 49 scholars were honored for their commitment to leadership, service, character, and scholarship- HUGE shout out to the Catalyst Maria leaders spearheading this initiative- Ms. Fawaz, Ms. Johnson, Ms. Bies, and Ms. Lewis!
Catalyst Maria High School's male soccer team won first place at the Chicago Charter Classic, with wins over Instituto Career Academy, Noble Gary Comer, and Uno Garcia! Congratulations to the Wolves!

We are extremely proud of Catalyst Maria scholar Isa M., who was one of four recipients of the Outstanding Illinois Charter School Senior Award!
Isa is an incredible member of the Catalyst Maria community, and embodies the INCS award's criteria of "demonstrating outstanding academic achievement, commitment to their community, and strong leadership qualities in their school and extracurricular activities. They embody the mission of their charter school and work hard toward achieving their dream of graduating from college and being successful in a career and beyond."

This weekend Catalyst Maria scholars and staff participated in The Chicagoland Out of the Darkness Walk (promoting Suicide Awareness and Prevention). It was a beautiful day and thank you to everyone who participated and/or helped promote the walk! Check out an image of Catalyst staff below!
