Mr. Trella

Physical Education Teacher

Carthage College

Born on February 11th

I loved The Curious Case of Benjamin Button

“Mr. Trella has the heart of a champion!  He is always ready and willing to do his part to make the day at CCR run smoothly.  He greets scholars with a firm handshake and a smile when they arrive on the 2nd floor.  He goes the extra mile by checking in with scholars individually to ensure that they are ready to make it a great day.  This is in addition to the wonderful job he is doing implementing a physical education program with our scholars.  He doesn’t stop there!  He extends himself after school to provide scholars the opportunity to participate in flag football.  Mr. Trella inspires those around him through his daily efforts.  Thanks for being an extraordinary member of our TEAM.”

-Ms. Hill, Director of Culture and Discipline

Ms. Jaudon

7th/8th Grade Instructional Support Staff

National Louis University

Born on December 17th

I loved Dreamgirls

“Ms. Jaudon is the definition of a change agent.  Since joining our team she has been a consistent positive force for the Catalyst community. As my instructional aide she served as an invaluable component to my classroom environment. She was always present, engaged with the scholars, and encouraging them to do the best they can. This year she stepped up as the fifth grade instructor for the first month of the school year and she did an excellent job of setting a strong foundation for Mrs. O’Neill’s scholars and helping them get acclimated to the fifth grade. I am very excited about the awesome things that Ms. Jaudon has in her future!”

-Ms. Jamison-Dunn, Director of Instruction
