Catalyst Circle Rock 4th annual Men Take Your Child to School Day

On Wednesday, 300 men welcomed the 520 scholars of Catalyst Circle Rock for the school's fourth annual Men Take Your Child to School Day.  This event inspired all in attendance, and was featured on ABC News (linked here).  Thank you to the men of the Catalyst Circle Rock for making this event such an incredible success!

Catalyst Board of Directors Meeting Agenda 9.17.18

The Catalyst Board of Directors' will have their first scheduled meeting of the 2018-2019 school year on Monday September 17, 2018. This meeting will be held at Catalyst Circle Rock Charter School, located at 5608 W. Washington Blvd. Chicago, IL 60644 and will be from 3:00-6:00 PM.

All Catalyst Board meetings are open to the public.  In accordance with OMA, the agenda for this meeting is below:

Catalyst Maria HS scholar Christopher A. continues incredible research!

Catalyst Maria High School scholar Christopher A. (Class of 2019) spent this summer working with UChicago and UIC on laboratory research on prostate cancer.  The focus of this research was centered on the disparities between African-American and European-American males and prostrate cancer based on vitamin D deficiency. Christopher (pictured below) worked very hard this summer and presented gave a formal presentation on the research this week- we are so proud of him!
