On Tuesday evening Catalyst Maria had their first combined National Honor Society and National Junior Honor Society Induction Ceremony! A total of 49 scholars were honored for their commitment to leadership, service, character, and scholarship- HUGE shout out to the Catalyst Maria leaders spearheading this initiative- Ms. Fawaz, Ms. Johnson, Ms. Bies, and Ms. Lewis!
This week is Catalyst Circle Rock's 1st Annual Parent Appreciation Week to honor the parents and guardians of Catalyst Circle Rock! We have awesome events planned for each day and we hope to see someone from everyone family at at least one event this week! Please see the schedule below:
Monday, October 19th – Breast Cancer Awareness Kick-Off! Families arrived early to greet scholars and wore pink for Breast Cancer Awareness Month (pictured below).
Tuesday, October 20th – We “Donut” what we would do without you! Come enjoy free donuts and coffee between 7:15am and 9:00am at Door 4.
Wednesday, October 21st – Blast off Into Technology! Attend one of two events in which we teach parents about the instructional technology programs that we use on a daily basis (Study Island, IXL Math, and Class Dojo). The programs will be from 8:30am – 9:30am and 4:00pm – 5:00pm.
Thursday, October 22nd – Pamper Party! Come and be treated to free massages, manicures, and mini-facials between the hours of 12pm – 2pm in our Renaissance Room!
Friday, October 23rd – Please join us from 9am – 11am where we will honor our grandparents as well as give away free Catalyst tote bags and T-shirts for parents who join the Extra Mile Parents (EMPs).
Catalyst Maria High School's male soccer team won first place at the Chicago Charter Classic, with wins over Instituto Career Academy, Noble Gary Comer, and Uno Garcia! Congratulations to the Wolves!
Due to the need to correct issues that are significantly impacting the technology infrastructure of our schools, Catalyst Circle Rock and Catalyst Maria will have an emergency closure on Tuesday October 13, 2015.
