In honor of Women’s History Month throughout March, the Catalyst community promotes the study and celebration of women past, present and future!  

Catalyst Circle Rock Principal Elizabeth Jamison-Dunn and Middle School ELA Teacher & Department Chair Morgan Burrel were recipients of the 2023 Millen Twins Educator Awards! The MTE Awards were established by Kristle & Kerese Millen in 2019, and they acknowledge individuals for their time and dedication in their schools and communities. Principal Jamison-Dunn and Ms. Burrel were honored at a ceremony where they were supported by several team members from CCR and Catalyst Maria (pictured below)! Congratulations Principal Jamison-Dunn and Ms. Burrel- we are inspired by all that you bring to innumerable lives at Catalyst!

The 2023 Model United Nations Conference was recently held at the Hyatt Regency Chicago, spanning four days and bringing togethers 2,300 students from across the United States! Catalyst Maria participated for the first time, with the CMHS delegation representing the countries of St. Lucia and Senegal. We are so proud of our scholars and a HUGE shout out to Ms. Volk for starting this amazing program at CMHS!
